SAVING BABY MALAIKA....... ( RIVERFRIEND )
This is the tragic story of a little African baby girl who had been abandoned
by her mother in the wilderness and was attacked by wild dogs, severely
bitten in wounding her face and the loss of one arm...The child was found
and rescued and brought to a hospital where this precious little girl fought
for her life...Doctors were able to treat her wounds but didn't have much hope
she would survive, but even if she did, the doctors said she may never walk
or have a normal child's life because of her injuries and one arm disability...
Well, God had other plans !...Jeremiah 29:11...She did survive her plight
and her miraculous recovery story in God's purpose for saving her life was
this ministry's Spiritual heart tugging motivation through the prompting of
the Holy Spirit in establishing The Riverfriend Project and Hope
Foundation and with the help of my joint outreach ministry partner Miriam,
this desire became a reality and so The Riverfriend Project Toys for African
Children was born to bring the Gospel hope and love of Jesus into their little
hearts and the joy of a toy into their hands they can can call their very own....
2 Corinthians 9:7...Miriam and I nicknamed her " Riverfriend " because like
Moses, she was found and rescued in the wilderness for God's plan and
purpose...

Through God's grace it gives my heart and Spirit great joy to announce that I
Minister David and the Church of the Living Waters Prayer and Healing
Ministry has now joined in an anointed partnership by the Holy Spirit in a
joint outreach ministry with Miriam in Kenya Africa in what we call our CIS,
( Connected in the Spirit ) from afar in desiring every African child to have the
Gospel hope and love of Jesus in their hearts and a toy in their hands to play
with to call their very own !!!...Miriam says: Play is their language and toys
are their words...It is our sincere desire and earnest hope in filling both
their physical and Spiritual needs with God's provision of food for their
bodies proper nourishment and nutrition, the Gospel to feed their souls...

By God's hand of favor and blessing upon it, this union of our two ministries
from afar has laid the ground work for our outreach ministry organization to

THE RIVERFRIEND DOLL BED
The 1st Toy that started it all !!!...
In the pictures below: This doll bed made and donated by this ministry was
mailed and has arrived safely by God's hand into Miriam's hands in Africa !...
The hand crafted African doll pictured beside it, Miriam took the hand made doll
and put it together for the Riverfriend Doll Bed...This miracle gift will be
presented to Malaika ( Our Riverfriend baby ) at the orphanage as the planted
seed by the Holy Spirit as the tempered mortar on which the solid foundation of this
joint outreach ministry was born and built upon and the other toys that would follow
The Riverfriend Project and Hope Foundation was built upon this toy, with the
sincere hope and honest desire that every needy child in Africa will receive a toy in
his or her hands planted with the seed of salvation and the teachings of the Gospel
with the love of Jesus Christ !...Our earnest prayer is that others will now follow the
example of John 14:12 and join with us to bring joy, comfort and compassion to the
orphaned, sick and lost children of Africa, a hope for their future by the simple
receiving of a toy to bring joy to their hearts and into their lives !...
The cost to get this doll bed to Africa from America was so very little and so worth
the investment into bringing the Gospel of Hope and the Love of Jesus into the
lives of God's precious little children of Africa !!!....Amen !
Prayer: Heavenly Father....We ask and pray that others will see the power of
Your hand with how with ease You have made a miracle blessing come into the life
of Malaika ( Riverfriend ) Your precious little miracle girl You saved for Your
Purpose and Glory as a witness to the world how much You love and care about us
and Your precious children...Lord God, open the hearts and minds of others with
Your Spirit to be compassionate and generous in joining our mission to bless the
little hearts and lives of the children of Africa !...It takes so little to help and you will
see the immediate impact results that will mean so much to them...
As Scripture says in 2 Corinthians 9:7 So let each one give as he purposes in
his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver....
NOTE: All these toys that have been crafted by this Ministry we're an inspiration of
the Holy Spirit, anointed with a Biblical name and character, with a purpose and
reason to fill the need of God's intended recipient...In Spiritual cooperation and
coordination together, Miriam my joint outreach ministry partner in Africa are my
eyes and ears there from afar led by the Holy Spirit to reveal to her whom that
recipient will be and then in making that connection happen...None of this for this

Praise the Lord for it's safe arrival by God's hand of protection as it was
shipped in two separate packages and both arrived within days of each other
We now wait upon the Lord for it to be picked up by God's messenger to
deliver it to the orphanage children in Mombasa !...
Once again this ministry is so grateful and thankful for our joint outreach
ministry partner Miriam for her help in coordinating this latest shipment even
being away on a mission trip !....Thank you Miriam !!!

Once again God has shown us His power to cross continents from afar in
reaching out to the needs of His children !...Praise God for His hand of
deliverance in bringing another food package of provision to nourish His
precious little children of Africa !!!.....Miriam our joint outreach joint ministry
partner in Africa to this ministry has delivered the food provision and
supplies in the pictures below to the Riverfriend Home orphanage in
Mombasa a 2nd time !...We're grateful to the Lord for her valued
assistance and loving compassion for His children there in assuring the good
works of this ministry are carried out by His good and faithful servant Miriam
in achieving the goals of our joint outreach ministry together by God's will...

From 2 Corinthians 9:7 : So let each one give as he purposes in his heart,
not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver...
Sharing a testimony from my outreach ministry partner Miriam on a
mission trip in Burundi Africa...The pictures below are of a 10 year old boy
who lives on the streets and was hungry and ill Miriam had encountered who
was in dire need...He has two brothers and his mother is a beggar on the
street in Bujumbura..
Read Miriam's testimony after the pictures to see how the Lord led
her to him to fill his needs and how much of an impact just a simple act of
caring kindness can make in a person’s life !
This is the boy Yves Miriam came upon on her way to church....By the
prompting of the Holy Spirit Miriam stopped to see if the boy was alright...
After awakening the boy, Miriam could see he was not well, hungry and in
need of food in meeting his immediate physical need...
Miriam soon discovered Yves was also suffering an affliction of a serious
inner ear infection....It was now time to put faith in action and get the boy
to a hospital or clinic for him to receive immediate medical attention...
The doctors there quickly confirmed Miriam's suspicion and diagnosed Yves
condition as an ear infection and prescribed ear drops and an antibiotic
medicine for 10 days...Through Miriam's encounter response and by God's
grace, Yves conditioned improved significantly overnight with the excess
fluids in his ears having dried up...God surely had His hand in this !

Here's Yves getting stronger, feeling better and healing well from his ordeal...
We thank God for His hand of provisional intervention in sending Miriam to
Yves that day in lifting him up out of his despair, to minister the care and
attention he needed, filling both his physical and Spiritual needs, bringing the
Gospel hope and love of Jesus into a young boys heart by just a simple act
of caring kindness to let him know God loves and cares for him...3 John 1:2
MIRIAM'S TESTIMONY....YVES STORY...11-29-2016
My ministry partner Minister David: Sharing a good works testimony with you...
This morning my Christian friend Patricia who is hosting and housing me here
during my mission trip dropped me off from her office where normally I then walk to
church...On my way this morning I came across a boy who was sleeping by a
sidewalk...After looking closely, he appeared to me to be weak and sick...The Holy
Spirit prompted me to awaken him to see if he was alright and to feed him some
breakfast...I couldn’t help but notice his badly torn clothes were sewn together with
banana strings and nylon gunny bag strings...I took him to a nearby milk shop and
bought him milk and donuts as I tried to communicate to him through an
interpreter...I learned he could not speak but he seemed to understand I was trying
to help him...Only then did I notice he had a severe ear infection and fluid in
his ears...At this writing he is here with me here at Church so that l can find out
where to take him to a hospital with the provisional funds you sent for me that I
withdrew last week...I may have to withdraw extra funds to help this boy with
clothes, and daily meals and for medicine...This was a confirmation that God wants
us to reach out to the vulnerable....So letting you know I will be taking him to the
clinic for treatment...l may have to also withdraw some more finances to care for
the boys hospital bill and other needs he may have at this time...I trust and know
this will be in agreement with you my ministry partner...UPDATE : I just came from
seeking treatment with Yves...It is sadly interesting to see how the poor are
exploited even in hospitals...I took a taxi to take him to the hospital and the taxi
driver was very helpful...He took us to four hospitals...Two were mission private
clinics, and another private hospital, only to discover there are no doctors...So we
were advised to go to the district government hospital...There we did find a doctor
who then told us he can only see us in his private clinic in the afternoon...Imagine
that,to make money over sick helpless poor people...So sad....So I came back
with him and now he is laying by a bench outside one of the church blocks at CLM
waiting for me and the taxi driver to take him to the clinic...While waiting I called a
manager of Village of Hope Home to see if he can allow him to stay there...He
came and we had a discussion, but he said the boy will need a lot of medical
attention so they cannot for that reason...So I had lunch with him, then took him to
the clinic, left him there to see the doctors while I attended school...UPDATE: After
school I took a taxi from class and now I am at the clinic...He is not been attended
to yet...There are 9 more patients still ahead of him...UPDATE: Good news !...
The doctors saw Yves and diagnosed and treated him for a serious ear infection
and prescribed antibiotics and to return back for a check up in 10 days for further
treatment if necessary.....We are now on our way to the pharmacy to pick up the
antibiotics medicine....All went well and I gave him dinner after the pharmacy...
Then the hardest part for me came when I had to leave him again then headed for
home...At your request, yes my ministry partner I will see to it he gets new clothes,
takes regular meals and his antibiotics daily....Bless you for standing with me for his
care...The taxi driver was also kind as he followed up on Yves when l was at school
and also when it was done waiting for us...UPDATE: Sunday morning Yves is
feeling better...We’re sitting at a small cafe Yves having milk and Burundian chapati
breakfast...Then I administer the antibiotic...He will come over to church for second
and third dosage and also for lunch and dinner...UPDATE: Monday this morning we
had very hard rains but l had already managed to feed Yves breakfast and
administer his medical care medicine... Guess what? He has gained some
confidence to give me eye contact, but still a little shy...Thank you partner for all
you have done...See some attached pics to encourage you on his progress and
improvement....UPDATE: Guess what ? By lunch time today his ear infection is
beginning to clear up !...Imagine that..I couldn't believe it !...I must I have never
seen antibiotics clearing such a serious ear infection in one day from the
administering of medicine...No doubt God administered quick healing through our
prayers for him...It is so exciting to see the progress and the hand of the Lord in it.
UPDATE: I had given him a little money when coming from clinic for him to buy a
hot drink since l was getting late to go home...Wisely though he bought a gunny
bag instead which l discovered he was sleeping inside it yesterday morning...After
asking him leave to go to a cafeteria for breakfast, he hid his gunny bag on a wall
somewhere...Then I discovered the next morning he was sleeping on the ground
again without his bag..Sadly someone must have taken it while we we’re at
breakfast...So l also gave him warm second hand T shirt and trousers to wear...The
next day I discovered he still was wearing his same old clothes...Asking him about
it he says nothing perhaps he was ashamed those too might have been stolen...
I do intend to find other clothes for him and make sure he uses them....Now I
thought it wise to give the church elder the responsibility to minister his medicine 3
times a day but I also ordered food for him where he can always go to eat at church
when l am not around...God is working in providing for his care to get well again...
UPDATE: Happy Sabbath my ministry partner...This morning Yves and l
had a good fellowship with the help of a church elder...He got a good shower from
church outside bathrooms then I took him for a good breakfast... I trust he will
return back to church for lunch and to receive his medicine... I took a pic of his ears
and you won't believe it !...The fluid in his ears have dried up just like that !...A good
sign he is healing well...God is good...UPDATE : Today Sunday and this evening l
did not see him around...I pray I will be able to continue seeing him to give him
care, make sure he takes his medicine and to monitor his progress and follow up
until all is well with him...UPDATE:Yves is back on track in receiving his
medication...His hearing is clear and he is now speaking and gaining confidence...
It is awesome to see him brightened up...Yves has never been to school...
Unfortunately, when l offered help to take him to school, he declined and insisted he
wants to live in the street...I am doing my best to meet the Mother and see how we
can reach out to her...For now we can only pray and help in reaching out to Yves
where we can...Thank you ministry partner for touching many lives of the little ones
in Africa and beyond...
MY REPLY TO MIRIAM:
Well done partner !...I pray the boy is feeling better after being fed by you and
receiving medical treatment...Yes we can follow up with a revisit to the clinic in 10
days to be certain the medication has healed him...and if needed, more further
treatment...Do as the Lord and your heart leads you to do...And yes please do fill
his other needs of clothing, daily food to get stronger and well and whatever else
you feel the boy needs at this time...Thank you my ministry partner for spending the
necessary time with the boy today to care for him...I'm certain your attention &
compassion lifted him up to feel loved and valued...I stand with you now in prayer
for complete healing & restoration of his health as you keep a watchful eye on
him...Bless your heart for being a God sent Angel to the boy in his time of dire need
acting out your faith in good works the whole day through in service to the Lord
through your kind act of loving compassion for the boy...Thanks again Miriam for
blessing me to be a part of what you have done this day to show the love of Christ
to this boy...I pray your care to this boy will be a powerful witness to his heart &
Spirit that God loves him and Jesus was there for him at his hour of need standing
right beside you...Amen....Please continue to follow through and to help the boy for
his care and needs and keep me posted partner !...
